“Limitations exist only in the mind” Kathleen Phythian.
Arachnophobia is quite a common phobia, it is an extreme or irrational fear of spiders and at Hypnotherapy Liverpool Kathleen has had great success with this condition during the last two decades she has been in private practise.
People with arachnophobia tend to feel nervous or anxious if they have to visit a place that is known to have spiders or indeed if a place is just old and dusty so likely to have lots of cobwebs etc. Many dread just the thought of cobwebs and some peoples fear is so great they can become almost parallelized at the very thought of seeing a spider. If an arachnophobic sees a spider they are likely to become quite emotional and anxious, they may experience excessive sweating, erratic breathing, scream or cry, experience heart palpitations or a full blown panic attack. Some peoples phobia is that acute that even a picture of a spider can trigger the panic attack and they can become extremely anxious just talking about spiders.
If an arachnophobic sees a spider in their bedroom then they usually will not go to bed until they have had the spider removed from the room or it has been killed, some won’t get a shower until a partner or friend has checked the shower curtain for any spiders that may be lurking in them.
Many people live with this fear and simply live in avoidance using manufactured preparations designed to ward off spiders for some many people it can be massive and debilitating.
Don’t live with that ‘something inside yourself but outside of your control’ Let Kathleen help you find the cause and release the fear within for you.
